Again with the hat

Kira's hat this time.

Stair master

Phoenix can go up and down the stairs as fast as can be.

The new bike

Kira helped Daddy raise the seat and then took off on a bike ride to the store. Thank you to all the family and friends who have been patiently waiting to see the bike that Kira spent her birthday money on. Every time that we would go out for a bike ride, I would forget the camera. Patrick reminded me on this trip to take the camera with us and take pictures.

So sweet

Kira built herself a cage in Phoenix's crib and was pretending to be his pet. She was making him laugh and run away when she barked at him. She loves to play with her brother, make him laugh and take care of him. She is an awesome big sis.

It's not that noisy...

Phoenix continually pulled the head phones off until one time when he heard the planes passing over. After that, he helped me to put them on when he heard the jets approaching.

Artic Thunder

We went to the air show on the 12th with our friends. We saw new planes, old planes, and cool tricks. It was noisy, but the kids loved it. Also they would rather cover their ears than wear their ear plugs.

Best pet yet?

Silly boy, retreiving is for dogs...oh that cold metal just felt good on your mouth.

Peek a Boo

Phoenix loved playing with Daddy's hat.

Swinging times

We went to the park that is a few houses down the street from us. Kira loves to swing and asks for underdogs all the time. Now she is big enough that she can get the swing going by herself and keep it going.

Mommy and Daddy time

We went out to camp this past weekend for Couples Retreat sponsored by our church. Other than a brief confrontation with a tree (Mommy) and a run in with a bird (Daddy), the weekend was a flawless time of rejuvination for our relationship and connection with God our Father and Christ our Savior.

It was the first time that we had left Phoenix overnight. I was a little nervous (for absolutely no reason) but he didn't starve or stay awake all night. The kids spent the weekend with our good friend Raychel, who has kept Kira regularly since Kira was born.

Too cute to pass up

Check out that smile

I have 8 teeth now and I can bit through anything. Watch me chew this light saber in half... hehehe

Friends for Life

Zoe and River came over on Thursday to play. The boys were hanging out on the couch for a bit when they first got here.

Catching bubbles??

If I catch a bubble on my tongue, will it taste like a snowflake?

Sharing?

"Here you take the passie. I'll keep the goldfish"

Quality time with Daddy

Phoenix is learning gun essentials from Patrick... "Point that end at the bear, and squeeze this trigger."

End of Season

Kira played her final soccer game of the summer season on July 24. She received a trophy for her hard work and team play. We had a great soccer season with a hard working fun team.

At the zoo

We went with friends to the zoo. Phoenix and Austin watched the animals from their stroller view.
