Before-- Phoenix is contemplating the curios nature of the solid object before him that he can see straight through.
During--Phoenix discovers the strange senstaion of smashing his face on the cold hard barrier that he cannot get through.
After--Phoenix must laugh...it was funny and silly feeling.
