By the third night of raking leaves, the novelty had worn off and my little helpers decided that it would be better to just play. It had gotten cold enough to wear snow suits and this was the first time that Phoenix wore his. He had some trouble at first with balance and standing up. Finally he just wanted to stay on the porch and guard the phone for me.
