This is Raychel. She is aboslutely wonderful. A few days after Patrick left, she picked up Kira for a play date at Chuck E. Cheese so that I could have some time to adjust to life with no one in the house to help. She has stopped by several times to provide me with "grown up" conversation (aka conversation in which I am not singing the clean up song nor asking if someone has pooped). On Sunday, Raychel had asked if she could pick up the kids Friday after her classes were done and take them for the evening so that I could have free time. Of course, I am not going to turn down such a great offer. So when Raychel's classes ended about 5:00 on Friday evening she came and picked up my kids and took them for the evening. They went to the store and bought stuff to make dinner, pumpkins, and a carving kit. I was off to enjoy an evening by myself. I went to the Post Office, had spicy Chinese from New Sagaya ( a real treat since I usually am sharing my food with Kira and she can't handle spicy), and went to Costco. It was amazing. At Costco, I had time to look for all the things that I had coupons for and I didn't make any impulse buys due to suggestions made by a 5 year old. Then I went home and watched Pride and Prejudice and cleaned the house. Raychel returned the children to me bathed, in PJs and asleep. It was a great evening. Thank you Raychel.
